In this talk, I discuss the general challenges of the agricultural sector on defining soil health indicators, and quantifying how they are impacted by agricultural management at multiple scales. Following, I will provide a brief overview of recent advances on the application of geophysical methods to address such challenges. Finally, I will present the results of my ongoing research on how coupled modelling of electromagnetic induction data and agroecosystems functions may help estimating nitrous oxide emissions of grazed grasslands at the field scale.</span></b></p>

Hasta ahora, hemos confirmado la existencia de más de cinco mil exoplanetas, los cuales muestran una amplia diversidad en cuanto a tipos de planetas y sus configuraciones relativas. Los procesos que conducen a la formación de planetas y a la evolución de los sistemas planetarios son cruciales para dar forma a estos sistemas. A su vez, observaciones de alta resolución de los sólidos presentes en los discos están revolucionando nuestra comprensión de los discos protoplanetarios en general y la formación de planetas en particular. Por lo tanto, para desentrañar estos procesos, es crítico modelar y simular numéricamente la dinámica acoplada de distribuciones de gas y polvo polidisperso. En esta charla, presentaré y describiré algunos de los métodos y herramientas que hemos estado desarrollando recientemente para resolver la dinámica de sólidos en discos protoplanetarios. Además, presentaré y discutiré resultados recientes sobre la migración planetaria obtenidos con estas herramientas.</span></b>
