marco de los Seminarios de la FCAG: <b>"</b><b>Hydrogeophysical
imaging of water distribution and dynamics in the Critical Zone"</b>.<b>
</b>La misma estará a cargo del<b> Dr. Damien Jougnot </b><b>(Investigador
del CNRS, Sorbonne Université, Francia)</b>,<b> </b>profesor
invitado por el Dr. Luis Guarracino. A continuación les dejamos el

<div><b>Resumen: </b>Understanding and monitoring water
distribution and dynamics in the critical zone is a significant
challenge for the modern society. Geophysical methods can provide
subsurface data with a high spatial and temporal resolution in a
non-invasive manner, therefore allowing us to investigate the
water distribution in complex subsurface environments and monitor
its dynamics. In this seminar, I will present recent
hydrogeophysical studies that we carried forward using various
technics in the lab and in the field; highlighting some of the
limitations but also the great potentials that these techniques
have to better characterize Critical Zone processes.</div>
