Paula Nahirñak- es intención del área continuar con las suscripciones de los recursos contratados a los cuales accede la Universidad y su comunidad académica por lo que a partir del mes de marzo iniciarán negociaciones con las editoriales internacionales a fin de consensuar términos y costos en función de las necesidades actuales. Asimismo, informaron que están analizando el uso de los distintos recursos disponibles en los últimos años a fin de tomarlo como indicador para adecuar los nuevos contratos.</font></p><p style="font-family: Helvetica Neue, Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif;"><font size="2">Ante esta situación y hasta que se llegue a un acuerdo en las negociaciones es probable que encuentren que las plataformas a las que tenemos acceso a través de la BECyT <strong>ya no ofrezcan contenidos posteriores a la fecha de expiración de los contratos vencidos (31/12/23) </strong>aunque sí estarían garantizados la posibilidad de consulta a los períodos pagos anteriores. Algunos proveedores están manteniendo un acceso provisorio a la espera de estas negociaciones, mientras que otros se están interrumpiendo (p.e. Scopus desde ayer 5/3/2024).</font></p><p style="font-family: Helvetica Neue, Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif;"><font size="2">Desde la Sec. de CyT de la UNLP y las Bibliotecas de la UNLP manifestamos nuestra preocupación por el futuro de este programa mediante el cual nuestros estudiantes, docentes e investigadores/as pudieron acceder durante todo este tiempo a la consulta de bases de datos y publicaciones científicas actualizadas que son vitales para el desarrollo científico-tecnológico de nuestra institución y de todo país.
