<p>The group of Computational Relativistic Astrophysics of the Department of Astronomy and Astrophysics of the University of València offers a postdoctoral position to work on the field of cosmological evolution of radio galaxies within the project RADIO GALAXIES:<br>
ACTORS IN COSMOLOGICAL EVOLUTION, financed by the Valencian and Spanish Governments, and the Next Generation EU programme.<br>
<br>
Interested candidates must hold or be close to defend a PhD in Astrophysics, in the field of relativistic jets in active galactic nuclei (either using numerical simulations or statistical studies of populations and cosmological evolution).<br>
<br>
<span role="presentation">The appointment is for a period of one+one years. <strong>T</strong></span><strong><span role="presentation">he expected starting date is</span></strong><span role="presentation"><strong> mid 2023</strong>.</span> <br>
<span role="presentation">Yearly gross salary will be around 45 kEuros.</span><br>
<br>
The selected person is expected to perform statistical studies of radio galaxy populations at different redshifts and their properties, and/or run and analyze numerical simulations of jet evolution in realistic galactic environments using relativistic magnetohydrodynamics codes.<br>
