<strong>Estudio de la composición química de los rayos cósmicos usando los detectores AMIGA y AERA del Observatorio Pierre Auger.</strong><br>
<br>
El objetivo general del plan de trabajo consiste en contribuir al entendimiento de la naturaleza, energía y lugar de origen de las partículas con mayor energía conocida, los rayos cósmicos de ultra alta energía (E > 10 EeV). En el mes de noviembre del 2015 comenzó una segunda etapa de operaciones del observatorio denominada Auger Prime, su objetivo es mejorar los resultados de la composición química para los rayos cósmicos ultra-energéticos. Por esta razón nuestra propuesta específica de trabajo de tesis consiste en la búsqueda de observables, que sean capaces de discriminar la composición química de los rayos cósmicos primarios que arriban a la atmósfera, utilizando observables sensibles a la masa de la partícula primaria, que podrán obtenerse experimentalmente mediante esta extensión del Observatorio Pierre Auger.<br>

Requisitos: Haber completado la carrera de Licenciatura en Física, Astrofísica o Astronomía. Buen manejo y conocimiento del inglés. Tener facilidad para la informática y conocimientos básicos de programación.<br>
