<span>Applications for the 2020 "La Serena School for Data Science: Applied Tools for Data-driven Sciences" are now open. The school is a great opportunity for students to learn statistical and computational tools for working in the "Big Data" paradigm. The
school will take place in La Serena (August 3–12) and is aimed to advanced undergraduate and early graduate students in Astronomy, Physics, Statistics, Math, Computer Science, Biology and related fields. Students currently in US and Chilean institutions are
eligible for full or partial scholarships. Please, encourage your students to apply! Feel free to distribute this message to professors or student who may find this information relevant.<br>
