<p class="MsoNormal" style="line-height:normal">The deadline for applications for the 2020 IAU PhD Prize, December 15th, is approaching and I would like to count on you to remind potential candidates at your institution of this opportunity. </p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="line-height:normal">Each IAU Division will award its own prize to the candidate with the most outstanding PhD Thesis in their respective field, defended between December 16th, 2019 and December 15th, 2020. The IAU PhD prize is open to candidates from any country, regardless of whether the country is an IAU National Member. </p>
