Release of the 2020 International Day of Light #SEETHELIGHT Video<br>
We welcome you to enjoy and share the new 2020 International Day of <br>
Light Video, created by the Optical Society (OSA), SPIE and the IEEE <br>
Photonics Society with support from the IDL Steering Committee. This <br>

#SEETHELIGHT is a worldwide message encouraging all to join the <br>
conversation and celebrate the importance of the science of light and <br>
light-based technologies in our lives. As part of this campaign, we are <br>
excited to have featured four new articles on the topics of Better <br>
Diagnostics & Treatments, Cleaner Energy, Sustainable Farming, and High <br>

Celebrate IDL2020 From Home<br>
In early May we launched two new initiatives for IDL2020 to spur online <br>
engagement for the celebrations around 16 May <br>
<a href="https://www.lightday.org/celebrate-idl-2020" rel="noreferrer" target="_blank">https://www.lightday.org/celebrate-idl-2020</a>. Thousands of images have <br>
been shared across various social media platforms, and the call for <br>
videos from the IDL community were received by 26 counties to date. You <br>
can browse a variety of the selected video submissions on the official <br>
IDL social media pages. The popularity of this community videos <br>
initiative, video submissions will be accepted until the end of May and <br>
new videos received will be shared on IDL social media over the next 2-3 <br>
weeks as they are received and reviewed.<br>
